rTokens

rTokens are onchain tokens issued by Reality Protocol that provide economic exposure to U.S. stocks and ETFs, with each token using an "r" prefix followed by the underlying ticker symbol (e.g., rAAPL, rTSLA). Each rToken is reported as backed 1:1 by the corresponding underlying security held through regulated custody, with periodic reserve attestations. Unlike direct equity ownership, rToken holders receive economic exposure including corporate actions and dividends but do not obtain shareholder voting rights, distinguishing them from traditional tokenized equity and direct stock-ownership models.
