JustScreener vs TradingView

TradingView is a charting workspace; JustScreener is a background watcher over every pair. Below are the functional differences without any “best ever” claims: what each tool actually does and when each one fits.

As of May 2026. Vendor features change — re-check the source when you're about to switch.

JustScreener vs TradingView screener

TradingView is the chart, not the watcher. Its screener scans only when you open the tab; alerts happen on indicators, not on cross-pair scans. Pick TradingView when you trade off charts manually and want the deepest charting toolkit. Pick JustScreener when you want background monitoring — the scanner runs while you're away from the screen.

Best with TradingView, not instead. Most JustScreener users keep TradingView open for the chart and run our screeners in parallel for notifications.

When to pick TradingView

  • You trade from the chart manually and want maximum charting tools: drawing, indicators, Pine Script.
  • You need market coverage beyond crypto — stocks, forex, commodities.
  • You only need notifications on a few specific instruments you keep open anyway.

When to pick JustScreener

  • You want a background scan of every pair on 10 exchanges — the screener works while you are away from the screen.
  • A signal should reach you in Telegram or push, not wait in an open tab.
  • You trade derivatives: price + open interest + volume + funding combined in one rule.

Common questions

Can TradingView notify me about a move in any coin?
TradingView alerts are configured per instrument and condition — there is no background scan of every pair, and the alert count depends on the plan. JustScreener scans every pair on 10 exchanges continuously and sends a Telegram or push signal wherever the move happens.
Do I have to drop TradingView when moving to JustScreener?
No. They cover different jobs: TradingView is the chart and analysis workspace, JustScreener is cross-pair monitoring and signal delivery. Most of our users run both — the chart in TradingView, the notifications with us.
Does JustScreener have TradingView-grade charts?
No. Our coin pages show price, OI and volume dynamics, but full charting with drawing and custom indicators is TradingView’s strength and we do not compete with it. Our specialty is scanning and notifications.
