RSI (relative strength index) is an oscillator from 0 to 100 that compares the strength of recent gains and losses. Above 70 a coin is considered overbought, below 30 oversold.
The map shows RSI over 14 daily candles for the 100 coins with the highest volume. Many overbought coins mean an overheated market, many oversold ones mean an oversold one.
How to read it
Overbought is not a reason to sell
In a strong trend RSI stays above 70 for weeks. Leaving the zone matters more than being in it.
Count the zones
The ratio of overbought to oversold coins is a simple gauge of how overheated the market is.
