Oversold coins — RSI below 30

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) compares average gains against average losses over the last 14 daily candles and maps the result onto a 0–100 scale. A reading below 30 means recent declines have clearly outweighed advances — the market calls this oversold. Traders watch the zone because sustained selling pressure tends to exhaust itself, and this is where they start looking for the first signs of price stabilisation.

Oversold readings are usually confirmed by context: where price sits relative to the 200-day average, whether the MACD histogram is turning, and how volume behaves — leaving the sub-30 zone on rising volume is more convincing than on fading volume. The classic false signal is a strong downtrend, where RSI can stay below 30 for weeks while price keeps sliding. A single reading is therefore a starting point for analysis, not a conclusion.
