What open interest shows
Open interest (OI) is the total of all open futures positions in a pair. The ranking shows where money is flowing: JustScreener recalculates OI across every USDT-M future on 9 exchanges every minute.

Reading OI changes with price
OI rising with price confirms the trend with new money. OI rising while price falls — shorts are building. A sharp OI drop — mass position closing or liquidations.
How to read the table
OI and price together
Read the OI column next to the price change: same direction — the trend is being fed, opposite — a position is building against the move.
Sharp shifts
An OI jump within 1–12 hours shows many new positions were opened. Check funding and turnover on the coin page.
FAQ
Why do only futures have OI?
Spot has no positions — only coin ownership. OI exists only in derivatives, so the table lists futures pairs only.
Can I get alerts on OI shifts?
Yes. The open interest screener sends a push or Telegram notification when a pair's OI changes faster than your threshold.
